My name is Jake De Souza and I’m a live wedding and event painter based in Ireland with a unique emphasis on nature and flora.

I make all my inks on-site from 100% natural ingredients hand collected ethically and sustainably on the venue grounds, so you take home a sentimental and truly authentic snapshot of your event that conventional paintings and photographs cannot convey.

 

My eco-friendly inks can be rendered from a wide array of organic materials to suit all events and venues, including: Purified rainwater/running water/drinking water, hand-plucked shamrock/grass, fallen branches, flower petals from the venue grounds/floral arrangements/bridal flowers, honey from the caterer/local beekeepers, and the same tea guests are sipping.

I also offer other keepsakes including Save-The-Date cards and personalised invitations, employing the same thoughtful authenticity as my live paintings and including the same natural inks gathered somewhere meaningful - maybe the spot you first met, a family home, or a memorial site.
